This second session in an eight part series on an Introduction to the Nature of the Church explores the mystery the church. A first response to church as mystery is because the church is inseparable from the great mystery of the Holy Trinity. The Triune God who is divine love calls together a people to form the holy household. This family of God gradually took shape, increased its own identity, and learned to follow its vocation. The church is a sign of this Reign of  God, already present among us, though not yet fully achieved!

In this podcast hear how summer vacation and the moon cycles reveal the “light of Christ which is resplendent on the face of the church.” Please listen in and then, in the community forum for this podacst, share stories like the one you will hear, comment on the content of the printed materials (contact us if you are not in St. Vincent’s parish and want to order these materials), and make observations about any part of the ensuing conversation.

Thank you for being a part of this electronic effort “perhaps another experience of the ongoing unfolding of the mystery of the church. Peace” PACE!
