Catechumenate sessions for this liturgical year
This series of podcast corresponds with the Catholic Church Catechumenate for this liturgical year. Solid Catholic theology presented through accessible dialogue. This podcast is particularly well suited to persons who may have an interest in learning more about the Catholic community. Solid theology is presented, however, this is not intended to be a discussion about Catholic apologetics. It is an exploration of our relationship with God, our language, and our community.
These sessions are comprised of three formats, as follows:
- Parish Sessions – Together on the catechumenate journey, we participate in lectures, group activities, group prayer and other activities at the parish to further our understanding and relationship with God. These sessions are tagged with CCPS (Catholic Classes Parish Session) and a sequence number.
- Topical Discussions – In a small group of 3 or 4 people we focus on topics related to the parish session to further our understanding. These sessions will be tagged with CCTD (Catholic Classes Topic Discussion) and a sequence number.
- Catechism Reflection – In a small group of 3 or 4 people we reflect on the text of the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults as it relates to the parish sessions. These sessions will be tagged with CCCR (Catholic Classes Catechism Reflection) and a sequence number.
