You will be happy to know that we have replaced the Canticle of Zechariah with spoken versions and we are working on replacing Psalm 51 on Fridays with spoken versions as well.

Hi All,

First off, I love your Liturgy of the Hours podcasts. I listen every single day on my way to work and can't wait for the peal of bells for begin.

Thank you for uploading the the Liturgy of the Hours podcasts on Sundays. It has been a huge time saver for me.

I do I have a few comments though. Surely you must have a few more CD's of music so that we don't have to hear the same music and the same artists week after week. A change in tune/singer the Canticle of Zechariah would be nice too, as well as Psalm 51 on Fridays. It really gets old hearing the same singers/groups all the time. Don't get me wrong. I do enjoy their voices, but even my family gets tired of my voice and i have a pretty decent one. One last comment. Shepherd has an "e", not an "a" as in this week's hymn, "Shepherd of my heart", and not "Shepard of my heart".

Overall, you are all doing a wonderful job. I LOVE your reading of the psalter. Now if only the lectors at mass would read that well! :)

Peace,

John

Hi Fr. McNeeley,

Where are you located? Perhaps we have a time zone issue.

I post every session at 10:00 PM the day before the correct day. I wonder if I should post it earlier. My assumption was that most people synch their ipod over night and so they would have the proper liturgy of the hours every morning.

I will start posting at 10:00 am and see if the 12 hours earlier will help you. This makes sense since Europe is 7 hours ahead and most of the world's population is even ahead of that.

Thank you for listening

I can only get yesterday's Liturgy of the Hours and I have tried on several occasions. I can only hear MP, EP or Office of Readings from the previous day. Why? Can I fix it?

Hi royornelas,

I appologize for the delay in approving your posts. I have been in India for the past 2 weeks on business and involved with family before that.

Your contributions are very good and your help in this ministry is welcome. Would you send me some information about yourself? Please send it to catholic at catholicclasses dot org.

Dane,

I know that I have twice posted replies to 2 of your posts and they seem to have vanished. The first reply was on your assertion that there are 4 Marian Dogmas. That is incorrect there are only 4 Marian Dogmas. Secondly, in response to a question by Cathy, I replied by correcting your reply to her regarding Sacramentals. You have a great responsibilty if you are proclaining to teach the Catholic Faith.

The Catechism makes it clear that ALL Catechists must echo the words of Christ... "My teaching is not mine but His who sent me..." Thus I am urging you to Teach the Faith and not your version.

I have been an RCIA instructor for the past 12 years and I am willing to aid in your ministry.
